About The Position

As a Security Officer Badge Verification in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic automotive location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage badge activity, and help to deter unauthorized access while delivering exceptional customer service and communication. Through routine presence and professional interactions, you will support daily operations in a people-first environment built on teamwork, reliability, innovation, and integrity at Allied Universal.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, visitor screening activities, credential checks, and/or assigned emergency response activities at an automotive location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or authorization for employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries, and document access activity according to post orders.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and perimeter access points, as directed by site policies.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access, policy violations, and/or suspicious activity by maintaining a visible presence, communicating professionally, and following established reporting procedures.
