Join Allied Universal as an unarmed driving patrol officer at a residential location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support residents and guests with exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Must be able to ride a bike.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and appropriate emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with property management and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential location, including common areas, amenities, parking areas, and perimeter access points, to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorized access when required, and report maintenance issues, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior to the appropriate contacts.
  • Support a welcoming residential environment by providing directions, answering questions, and assisting with routine security-related requests from residents and authorized visitors.
