As a Front Desk Officer with Allied Universal at a leading automotive location, you will be the welcoming first point of contact, supporting security-related operations through visitor check-in, badge verification, access control, phone and radio communication, and clear documentation. You will help monitor activity from the lobby and systems, assist employees and guests with directions and questions, and elevate concerns promptly, bringing an agile, reliable, and people-first approach with integrity and teamwork.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive location.
  • Staff the front desk by greeting and directing visitors, answering phones, and supporting a professional lobby and reception experience.
  • Manage access control by processing sign-ins, issuing and collecting visitor badges, and coordinating with host contacts for approvals.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, and/or other site systems from the desk area, document unusual activity, and report concerns through appropriate channels.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including completing reports and communicating with site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
