About The Position

As a Security Officer Building Access Control in Fountain Valley, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic automotive location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts when needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, production-adjacent spaces, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor entry and exit activity, verify access permissions as directed by site policies, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations.
Support traffic flow and vehicle-related access points by observing delivery areas, employee parking, and visitor arrival zones, while providing directions and general assistance as appropriate.
