You will conduct routine foot patrols, stay highly visible, document observations, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors. Requirements

• Have 1+ years' law enforcement experience or 2+ years' security supervisor/manager experience or 3+ years' security experience.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and reporting concerns through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points, alarms, and/or surveillance systems as assigned, and support visitor management and controlled entry procedures per site policy.
• Complete routine reports, shift logs, and incident documentation, and coordinate with site contacts and local responders as needed.
