Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a commercial real estate location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and help to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or property staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with property management and/or public responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and amenity spaces, assisting with visitor interactions, policy awareness, and reporting of unusual activity at the location.
  • Support day-to-day property operations by observing for maintenance-related issues, policy violations, and/or hazards, then communicating findings through required reports and appropriate chain of command.
