About The Position

As a Security Officer - Campus Patrol in Pensacola, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access points with clear, professional communication. You will document observations, respond to calls for service, and partner with site teams to keep operations moving. Requirements

• Have a minimum of 2 or more years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking lots, and perimeter areas, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to post orders.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, initiating notifications and coordinating with site contacts and/or public responders as directed.
• Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification and/or authorization, managing visitor processing, and helping to deter unauthorized entry and/or tailgating.
• Complete required security-related logs, incident reports, and shift turnovers with accurate details, and communicate noteworthy activity to supervisors and/or site management.
