Job Description As a Security Officer - Unarmed Perimeter Patrol Driver in Fort Worth, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading tech and communications campus as an unarmed, driving Patrol Officer. You will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to calls for service with clear communication and customer-focused support. Using your valid driver’s license, you may patrol across multiple areas while documenting observations and escalating concerns. Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Have 6+ months of Security Experience.
- Be 21+ Years of Age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
- Control access by verifying identification, managing visitor check-in and/or badging processes, and directing arrivals to the appropriate areas in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events, notifying appropriate personnel, and assisting with follow-up actions as directed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity, identify hazards, and report maintenance or operational concerns.
- Monitor alarms, cameras, and/or other systems when assigned, complete routine logs and reports, and communicate status updates to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
