As a Security Officerr - Chemical Site Patrol - Full Time in Mont Belvieu, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location. Requirements
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Assist with access control procedures at the location, verifying credentials and authorizing entry for employees, visitors, and contractors in accordance with site-specific policies.
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and responding to inquiries in a professional manner.
- Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity within the chemical or petrochemical environment.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter security-related risks and report any unusual activity or hazards.
- Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and site management.
- Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including assisting with evacuations and coordinating with local emergency services if needed.
