About The Position

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts, and provide a strong customer service presence while using teamwork, integrity, and an agile, reliable approach to support daily operations at the location.

Requirements

Must have an active Secret Clearance
Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
Be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
A guard card and/or security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, employees, and/or visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and identify irregular conditions.
Control access at entry points by verifying identification and/or authorization, directing visitors, and maintaining visitor and vehicle logs per site policy.
Prepare clear written reports of daily activities, patrol observations, and incidents, and communicate key information during shift handoff.
