Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting an Aero and/or Defense location, where your presence and professionalism help to deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, report observations, and communicate clearly with onsite teams and visitors while delivering standout customer service. Requirements

  • Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal and site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and post orders at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify site contacts and/or emergency services as directed by post instructions.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter points, noting unusual conditions and reporting hazards and/or maintenance concerns through the proper channels.
  • Control access by observing badge use, checking identification as directed, and documenting visitor and/or delivery activity in logs and reports.
  • Complete routine documentation such as daily activity reports and incident reports, and communicate relevant updates during shift transitions to support continuity of security-related operations.
