About The Position

As a Security Officer - Command Center Driver in Chandler, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Dispatch Officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will support day to day operations by monitoring alarms and camera systems, coordinating officer activity by radio and phone, documenting incidents, and helping teams respond to changing site needs. Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Operate dispatch functions by receiving calls, radios, and/or alarms, prioritizing requests for service, and coordinating the response of on-site personnel in accordance with post orders.
  • Monitor access control and alarm and/or monitoring platforms, document activity, and communicate status updates to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, coordinating resources, and completing required reports.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as directed, noting unusual conditions and reporting concerns through the established chain of command.
