As a Security Officer - Commercial Patrol Full-Time in Boston, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support tenants, visitors, and staff with strong customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting. Requirements

• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, post orders, and security-related protocols at a commercial property.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior common areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to identify suspicious activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns.
• Respond to alarms, calls for service, and other incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, initiating emergency response activities per site procedures and contacting public responders as needed.
• Support access control by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials where required, directing visitor check-in, and/or assisting with deliveries in accordance with site policies.
• Document patrol activity, incidents, and observations in written reports and/or electronic systems, communicating relevant updates to Allied Universal leadership and property management.
