As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a leading healthcare location, you will coordinate responses to calls for service, track incidents, and guide on-site teams with clear, timely communication. You will monitor activity, support routine patrol operations, and help to deter security-related incidents through strong presence and rapid decision-making. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
  • Operate the dispatch function by monitoring alarms, access control, cameras, radios, and phones, and coordinating response activities for Allied Universal team members.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, gathering key details, notifying appropriate personnel, and documenting actions taken.
  • Maintain accurate logs and reports, including incident details, phone and radio communications, visitor and/or vendor notifications, and shift activity updates.
  • Support access management by relaying requests, verifying information per site policy, issuing directions and/or assistance to authorized individuals, and escalating concerns as needed.
