As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Field Patrol in Fort Worth, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Requirements

A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and reporting notable activity to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor, vendor, and/or delivery activity as directed by site policies, and help to support orderly traffic flow at the location.
Observe facility operations and surrounding areas for maintenance issues, hazards, and/or policy violations, then communicate findings through appropriate reporting channels.
