About The Position

As a Security Officer Courtyard Patrol in Saint Petersburg, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support security-related operations with agility, reliability, and innovation while working as part of a caring team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Requirements

CPR certification is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues through site protocols as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas, lobbies, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
Monitor entry points, visitor activity, and/or badge access practices while reporting maintenance, lighting, or facility concerns that could impact daily operations.
Document observations, incidents, and/or interactions in a clear manner and communicate relevant updates with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
