About The Position

As a Security Officer - Credential Checkpoint in Boca Raton, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Requirements

• Have at least 1+ years of security experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, guests, and team members by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
• Operate the access control post by verifying identification, processing visitor and contractor check-in and/or check-out, issuing temporary credentials when authorized, and directing traffic to designated areas.
• Monitor entry and exit points for authorized access, observe for unusual activity, and promptly report concerns according to site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, including dock areas and parking lots, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
