Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, process visitor and/or contractor entry, and document arrivals and departures according to site protocols.
• Respond to incidents, delivery disputes, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
• Observe inbound and outbound foot traffic, vehicle traffic, and/or trailer movement to help support authorized access and report unusual activity.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around entry areas, shipping and receiving zones, and the perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
