You will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, respond to alarms as needed, and communicate clearly with onsite teams. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, drivers, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Control access at entry points by checking identification, issuing and collecting visitor credentials, managing sign-in and sign-out logs, and directing guests and deliveries to the appropriate areas.
• Monitor security-related systems such as cameras, alarms, and access control panels, and report unusual activity, maintenance issues, and policy violations through established communication channels.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications, documenting events, and assisting with site response activities as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including gates, docks, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized access and/or activity.
