About The Position

As a Security Officer - Data Center Patrol Driver in Morrisville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading tech campus where you will conduct unarmed patrols, remain highly visible, and respond to security-related concerns with strong customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post, so you will use a company-approved vehicle to patrol larger areas, support access control, and document activity using site systems. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a technology office location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Monitor access points and interior areas by observing activity, verifying credentials when required, and assisting with visitor sign-in and/or directions according to site procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and communicating updates to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
Complete routine reports such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift handoff notes using required tools, supporting accurate communication and continuity of operations.
