Job Description As a Security Officer - Emergency Communications Dispatcher in Los Angeles, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Dispatch Officer at a financial institution location, you will help coordinate security-related responses, monitor activity, and support teams with clear, professional communication. You will help maintain a welcoming environment by assisting staff and visitors while documenting incidents and sharing timely updates. Bring your Spanish language skills to support day-to-day operations as part of an agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Requirements

  • Speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
  • Have 1+ years of security experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
  • Be able to lift up to 20 lbs, preferred.
  • Have a Guard Card or license, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by supporting security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, access control notifications, and incoming calls, then dispatch Security Professionals and/or notify site contacts according to post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating communication with on-site personnel and emergency services when directed.
  • Maintain accurate security-related logs and reports, documenting incidents, dispatch activity, and system events in accordance with site requirements.
  • Perform regular and random patrols as assigned and/or coordinate mobile patrol coverage around the business and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
