Requirements

Have at least 1+ years of security experience.
Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21+ years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Control access to restricted areas at an aerospace and defense location by verifying credentials, issuing and collecting visitor authorization, and directing arrivals to proper check-in points.
Monitor alarms, cameras, radios, and other security-related systems; document activity and communicate unusual conditions to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical events, fire alarms, and unauthorized entry attempts, and complete required reports.
Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
