About The Position

As a Security Officer - Mobile Patrol Security Clearance in Fort Wayne, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control and visitor flows, document observations, and communicate clearly with site teams. Requirements

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter checkpoints to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify irregular conditions.
  • Monitor access points, verify identification and/or badges, manage visitor processing, and document entries and exits in accordance with site requirements.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and assisting with site evacuations and/or facility lockdown actions as directed.
  • Complete detailed reports of patrols, access activities, incidents, and observations, and communicate security-related information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
