As an Allied Universal Security Officer in a food and beverage distribution location, you will manage access control by greeting team members and visitors, verifying credentials, and tracking entries and exits. You will maintain a visible presence near gates and key checkpoints, support routine patrols as needed, and communicate clearly with site leaders about security-related concerns. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to onsite personnel, drivers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Control access to the location by verifying identification, processing visitors and vendors, issuing temporary badges as directed, and maintaining accurate access logs.
- Monitor entry and exit points, alarms, and cameras as assigned, reporting suspicious activity and/or policy violations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, completing required notifications and written reports.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, yards, parking areas, and the perimeter, noting hazards and/or unusual conditions and escalating per post orders.
