Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed, driving patrol officer supporting a fast-paced tech, media, and telecom location. You will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, manage access control and badges, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors. Using a computer or tablet as needed, you will deliver service with integrity and teamwork in a caring culture that is agile, reliable, and innovative.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and escalate to site contacts and/or public services as required.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the tech, media, and/or telecom location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points of entry.
  • Monitor access control points and visitor activity, verify authorization where required, and direct employees, contractors, and guests according to site guidelines.
  • Complete shift logs and incident reports, communicate observations to Allied Universal management and site representatives, and report maintenance concerns that may impact operations.
