As a driving post in a residential community location, you will help monitor and patrol assigned areas while remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will complete routine vehicle patrols, support residents and guests with clear communication and customer service, and document observations using provided technology. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, members, guests, and staff by following site-specific security-related procedures, access guidelines, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor entrances, gate areas, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive activity; verify credentials and direct visitors according to location policies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting additional assistance and/or emergency services when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of residential streets, amenities, parking areas, and perimeter points, noting unusual conditions and reporting concerns.
  • Complete daily activity logs and incident reports, document policy exceptions, and communicate relevant updates to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
