About The Position

As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol an active worksite, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy Requirements, with time spent moving between areas, documenting observations, and communicating clearly with site teams. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, vendors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the jobsite, including the perimeter, staging areas, parking areas, and access points to help to deter unwanted activity.
  • Control access to the location by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials when required, and directing visitors and deliveries to the appropriate check-in area.
  • Document patrols, observations, and incidents in written and/or electronic reports, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.
