Job Description As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Driver in Mount Juliet, TN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a tech, media, and telecom location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence that may help to deter security-related incidents, and support site access and incident response with clear communication and customer service. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to client employees and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a tech and/or media and telecommunications location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and/or access concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and assist with visitor management, deliveries, and contractor check-in according to site guidelines.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing observations and support for follow-up actions.
• Complete detailed reports on patrols, incidents, and unusual observations, and communicate status updates to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
