About The Position

As a Security Officer - Driving Patrol in Pleasant Prairie, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed, driving patrol officer supporting a commercial real estate location. You will conduct routine patrols and property checks, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, manage access points, and respond to concerns with strong customer service and clear communication. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and emergency response activities as directed.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting additional support and/or public emergency services when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of lobbies, common areas, parking areas, loading docks, stairwells, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor and operate building systems and security-related equipment such as CCTV and access control, documenting observations and reporting concerns through required channels.
  • Complete detailed activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communication, supporting property management and client representatives with security-related information as needed.
