As an unarmed, driving patrol officer at a high-tech aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, support access control points, and assist employees and visitors with clear communication and customer service. You will represent Allied Universal with integrity, teamwork, and a caring culture, bringing an agile, reliable, and innovative approach to every shift.

Requirements

  • An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR Certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
  • Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter checkpoints to help reduce the risk of unauthorized activity and/or property damage.
  • Monitor access points and security-related systems such as CCTV and alarm panels, assist with visitor processing, and support badge and/or key control procedures per site policy.
  • Document patrol activity, incidents, and service requests in written and/or electronic reports, and communicate relevant updates during shift turnover and/or to site management.
