As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a high-energy retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control and badge procedures, respond to guest and team member needs, and communicate clearly while representing a caring, people-first culture built on integrity, teamwork, and innovative service. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Wed 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Thur 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Fri 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, shoppers, and store staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout retail areas, back-of-house corridors, loading areas, and the exterior perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, suspicious activity, medical calls, and fire or alarm activations.
• Monitor access points, service entrances, and receiving areas; verify credentials and/or authorization as required by site-specific policies.
• Document patrols, incident details, and notable observations in written reports and/or electronic logs, and communicate updates to site management and Allied Universal supervision.
