As a Dispatch Officer at a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will help coordinate security-related operations by monitoring alarms and cameras, handling incoming calls, dispatching officers, and tracking activity with clear, timely communication. You will support routine patrol coverage, document incidents, and assist with access and visitor needs while delivering customer service. Requirements

  • A guard card/license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site employees, visitors, and/or vendors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor alarms, access control systems, and/or video surveillance feeds to identify unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized access, then dispatch appropriate personnel according to post orders.
  • Receive and prioritize incoming calls, radio traffic, and/or electronic requests, dispatching officers and coordinating responses to incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Document incidents, dispatch actions, and system alerts in written logs and reports, escalating to site leadership and/or emergency services when required by policy.
  • Support operations at a tech and telecommunications location by maintaining clear communication with on-site teams, verifying response status, and providing updates until incidents are resolved.
