You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and assist employees and visitors with clear, professional communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Control access at designated entry points by checking identification, credentials, and/or access authorizations, and helping to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Process visitors, contractors, and deliveries by issuing temporary credentials as directed, maintaining access logs, and coordinating with site contacts for approvals.
  • Monitor access control systems, CCTV, and/or alarms for irregular activity, and report security-related concerns according to post orders and escalation procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and notifying appropriate personnel as required.
