As an Allied Universal Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will greet employees and visitors, verify credentials, manage badges, and support entry and exit procedures. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents while delivering clear customer service and communication. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors and/or drivers by following site-specific security-related procedures, access control policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control entry and exit at designated access points by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, managing sign-in and sign-out logs, and directing individuals to approved locations.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and access control systems; respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
• Support food and beverage facility operations by confirming delivery and pickup information, routing vehicles to designated docks and/or staging areas, and documenting exceptions per post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
