Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol in Haywood, WV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic utility location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Pre-Employment Requirement: Security Experience - +1 Years

Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a utilities location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through proper channels.
Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials when required, and support access control procedures for employees, contractors, and/or visitors.
Communicate with site contacts, supervisors, and/or first responders as needed while supporting daily operations and helping to maintain order throughout the location.
