About The Position

As a Security Officer - Entry Control in Fairless Hills, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry and exit points, verify credentials, log visitors and deliveries, and partner with site teams to keep operations moving. You will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver strong customer service for drivers, employees, and guests. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel, drivers, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Staff access control points to help manage entry and exit for employees, contractors, and visitors, including checking identification, issuing temporary badges, and maintaining visitor and delivery logs.
  • Support logistics and distribution operations by coordinating driver and trailer check-in and/or check-out, verifying scheduled appointments or paperwork as directed, and directing traffic flow to designated areas.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, completing timely documentation and notifying site leadership and/or emergency services as required by post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility interior, exterior, and perimeter areas to help identify irregular conditions, unsecured doors, and policy violations, then report and/or escalate findings per site procedures.
