As an Access Control Officer at a busy food and beverage production location, you will greet employees and visitors, verify credentials, manage entry and exit points, and document activity while supporting a professional site experience. You will stay visible, communicate clearly with site teams, and respond to security-related concerns as they arise. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Possessing a guard card/license is preferred.
  • Being able to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel, drivers, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Control access at entrances and/or gates by verifying identification, authorizations, and appointments, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining accurate entry and exit logs.
  • Screen and process incoming and outgoing deliveries in a food and beverage production location by coordinating with receiving and shipping staff and checking documentation as directed by post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, completing required notifications and documentation.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report hazards or irregularities to site leadership per procedure.
