As an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a commercial real estate location, you will monitor assigned areas and conduct routine patrols to help identify and report security-related concerns. You will maintain a visible presence, support access control processes, and provide clear, customer-focused communication with tenants, visitors, and site contacts. Requirements
- Have 1+ years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors by following site-specific procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities as needed.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and service requests in a calm, problem-solving manner, and promptly notify site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols of common areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance concerns or hazards.
- Monitor entry points and building activity, verify credentials as required, and help maintain accurate visitor, vendor, and incident logs.
- Complete detailed shift reports and incident documentation, communicate observations during shift turnover, and support property management with security-related requests and/or special assignments.
