Job Description As a Security Officer - Factory Patrol Driver in Horicon, WI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a busy manufacturing and industrial location. You will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and access control activity while providing top-tier customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy Requirements, and offers a team-focused culture built on integrity, agility, and care.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, yards, and perimeter fencing, documenting observations according to post orders.
• Control access by monitoring gates, doors, and designated entry points; verify identification and/or authorization, and direct visitors and contractors according to site procedures.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify Allied Universal leadership and site contacts as required, and complete detailed incident reports.
• Monitor cameras, panels, and radios; communicate clearly with site personnel and/or emergency services when needed, and assist with traffic flow and loading dock activity as assigned.
