As an Access Control Officer at a busy food and beverage location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, and support visitor and employee flow with clear, professional communication. You will monitor activity, document security-related events, and assist with badge and gate procedures while staying visible to help reduce incidents. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, contractors, truck drivers, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Control access at entry points by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, managing sign-in and/or sign-out logs, and directing individuals to designated areas.
Support shipping and receiving access control by confirming appointments, coordinating with site contacts, and monitoring gate activity for authorized deliveries and pickups.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and communicating with site management and/or emergency services as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility interior, exterior, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized entry and identify conditions that may require attention.
