You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and support employees and visitors with clear, professional customer service. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, drivers and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Control access at entry points by checking identification, issuing and collecting badges, managing visitor logs and verifying authorizations for personnel and/or deliveries.
• Monitor cameras, alarms and access control systems, document irregular activity and report concerns through established communication and escalation channels.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and support compliance with site rules.
