About The Position

As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a fast-paced tech and media location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to requests with strong customer service and communication. You will document observations, support access control, and work with site teams using an agile, reliable, and innovative approach grounded in caring, teamwork, and integrity.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to client staff, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of office areas, building entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points and security-related systems such as alarms, cameras, and badge verification, and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations per site procedures.
• Complete shift activity logs and incident reports with accurate details, and communicate relevant information during shift handoff to support continuity of operations.
