Join Allied Universal on an armed, driving patrol post at a busy retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support store teams and shoppers with strong communication and customer service. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, document observations, and respond to situations with integrity, teamwork, and a caring, people-first approach. Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Have 6 months or more of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess Level III Armed Certification for Texas only.
• Have 5 years or more of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floor, entrances, parking areas, loading areas and perimeter.
• Monitor for suspicious or disruptive activity and help to deter theft, trespassing and/or other policy violations through high-visibility presence and verbal de-escalation.
• Complete required reports and documentation, including incident reports, shift activity logs and observations, and communicate key information to Allied Universal management and site leadership.
