As an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a utilities location, you will conduct routine mobile and on-foot patrols, stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and requests with clear communication and customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license, and an armed post requiring an armed guard card or license. Requirements

• Have 1+ Years' Armed Security/Law Enforcement/Military Experience.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
• Client Requires Proof of HS Diploma/GED.
• Be at least 21+ Years of Age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, yards, parking areas, and perimeter fencing, checking gates, doors, and critical infrastructure areas for unusual activity and/or hazards.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and access points, verifying authorized entry for employees, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site personnel and local emergency services when needed.
• Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and other required documentation, and communicate noteworthy conditions to supervision and/or client representatives.
