As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech and telecom location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and respond to security-related concerns to help reduce unwanted activity. You will communicate clearly with onsite teams and visitors, document observations, and support access control protocols. This armed post requires an Armed Guard Card or License, and you will bring integrity, teamwork, and an agile, reliable, innovative approach in a people-first culture.

Requirements

• Possess an Armed Guard Card and/or license.
• Maintain an active DoD Secret clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Baton certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and other security-related policies at a technology facility.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including doors, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and other systems; identify irregular conditions such as forced-door alarms or equipment-room alerts and report findings per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating emergency notifications, coordinating with onsite personnel, and contacting law enforcement and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoffs; document patrol observations and follow chain-of-command communications for security-related concerns.
