You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to alarms, access control needs, and unusual activity with clear communication and steady professionalism. Requirements

• 1+ Years' Armed Security/Law Enforcement/Military Experience.
• Armed Guard Card/License.
• Client Requires Proof of HS Diploma/GED.
• 21+ Years of Age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and documenting events per post orders.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, operational areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Control access at gates, entrances, and restricted areas by verifying identification, monitoring visitor and contractor activity, and maintaining required logs.
• Operate and monitor security-related equipment such as CCTV, access control systems, alarms, and two-way radios, and report equipment issues through the appropriate channels.
