As an armed patrol officer at a leading tech and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control and badge processes, respond to situations with calm communication, and deliver outstanding customer service. Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card/license.
• Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology and/or data center environment.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, equipment areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and public emergency services as needed.
• Control access to restricted areas by verifying identification, monitoring entry and exit points, and challenging unauthorized individuals in accordance with location procedures.
• Carry and maintain assigned issued equipment in compliance with Allied Universal policies, firearms handling standards, and applicable laws, including completing required reports and logs.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
