Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to situations with calm, clear communication. This post requires an Armed Guard Card and/or License and offers a chance to bring integrity, teamwork, and a people-first mindset to every interaction while delivering reliable, innovative service.

Requirements

• Have 1+ years' law enforcement experience OR 2+ years' security supervisor/manager experience OR 3+ years' security experience.
• Have an Armed Guard Card/License.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, disturbances, suspicious activity and/or medical situations.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas and perimeter points, monitoring for conditions that may help to deter unauthorized access and/or criminal activity.
• Control access to restricted areas by checking identification, authorizations and/or credentials, and verifying deliveries, vendors and visitors in accordance with site procedures.
• Complete detailed reports of daily activity, incidents and observations, and communicate relevant information to site management, Allied Universal leadership and/or law enforcement as required.
