As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to situations with clear communication, strong customer service, and sound judgment, supporting a professional environment for employees and visitors. Requirements

  • Possess an armed guard card/license.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a financial services location.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, surrounding grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points, verify identification and/or authorization, and control entry for employees, visitors, vendors, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, reporting, and coordination with site leadership and/or public responders as needed.
  • Complete detailed documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift handoffs, and communicate timely updates to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
