As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle-area patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond quickly to alarms and customer concerns. You will document observations, support access control, and communicate clearly with staff, visitors, and local responders. Requirements

• Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
• Possess a Corrections Officer License.
• Possess a Law Enforcement Officer License.
• CPR Certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution by carrying out armed post duties, security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access control points, verify identification and/or credentials as required, and assist with visitor, vendor, and employee entry processes in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions taken per post orders.
• Complete routine reports and required logs, communicate promptly with site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision, and support security-related investigations by preserving observations and reporting suspicious activity.
